BenQ MW560
The BenQ MW560 projector is a DLP model with native WXGA (1280 x 800) definition compatible with images in VGA (640 x 480) up to WUXGA (1920 x 1200) definitions. Initially intended for professional presentations, the BenQ MW560 can also be used at home for home cinema sessions and for video games, by projecting a very large image from 100″ (2.5 m) to 150″ (3.8 m) diagonal. This BenQ MW560 projector offers high brightness (4000 lumens) to project a very large image, even during the day. It also has a vertical keystone correction to adjust the geometry of the image if it is placed on the side of the screen. Its connectivity includes two HDMI inputs as well as a powered USB port to provide the power needed to power a wireless HDMI transmitter or a Google Chromecast Video . The BenQ MW560 projector also has a VGA input and output, an S-Video input and a composite video input, in addition to a 3.5 mm mini-jack audio input and output, as well as an RS-232 port. It also includes a speaker to broadcast the sound of the program being viewed.

Real glass lens
Despite the latest developments in the field of high-precision lenses made of resins and synthetic materials, they suffer from defects that are difficult or impossible to correct. This is manifested by low transparency to blue light, sensitivity to UV damage, anti-reflective coatings that peel off easily, poor scratch resistance, the absence of high refractive index and low dispersion materials, and poor achromatic capabilities.

That’s why BenQ uses glass lenses in its projectors, including the BenQ MW560. This is especially relevant since this projector has an intense light source. When light passes through the lenses, only the high transparency of the precision glass can ensure that the light is delivered in its purest form, without any loss. The high level of heat resistance of the glass also helps to preserve image quality and protect it from thermal interference. In addition, thanks to the optical design combining multiple glass lenses, including some low dispersion lenses, this BenQ MW560 projector eliminates image and color defects, to refine the image projection quality down to the smallest details.

Smart Eco Mode
The SmartEco technology integrated into the BenQ MW560 projector reduces energy consumption by up to 70% compared to traditional Eco mode, thus extending the life of the lamp. The SmartEco mode dynamically adjusts the lamp power, intelligently adapting to the content, without sacrificing image quality. Performance remains optimal and you limit consumption and wear on the lamp.
The Eco Blank function turns off the image for a certain period of time, reducing the energy consumption of the lamp. Thus, when no signal is detected for 3 minutes, the projector automatically switches to this mode. In addition, the automatic power off turns off the device after 20 minutes of inactivity, to save energy without having to turn it off manually.
Digital work and leisure
While the BenQ MW560 projector is highly effective for professional presentations, it is also suitable for films, video games and sports broadcasts. Versatile, it is ideal for enjoying a match or playing with friends on a very large screen (2.5 to 3.8 m diagonal), offering complete immersive conditions. In addition, the BenQ MW560 integrates a speaker powered by a 10-watt amplification. It delivers clear sound, so you can enjoy matches, games and films without having to use an external audio system.

HDMI, VGA, S-Video, Composite Video
The BenQ MW560 projector’s connectivity includes two HDMI inputs as well as a VGA input and output plus a 3.5 mm mini-jack audio input and output. There is also an S-VHS input and a composite video input. You can therefore easily connect a Blu-ray player and a video game console via HDMI, a PC via VGA and vintage video game consoles to the analog video inputs, to project a very large image with all its sources.

You can also connect a Google Chromecast Video to one of the HDMI connectors as well as to the powered USB port of the BenQ MW560 projector and thus obtain a connected video projector! You can then benefit from the most popular streaming services, replay services from the biggest channels and VOD services. The powered USB-A port can also power the receiver of a wireless HDMI transmission system .
BenQ MW560: in summary
Although initially designed for professional use, the BenQ MW560 projector is versatile and will also appeal to home cinema enthusiasts and gamers. Its ability to project bright and detailed images on large surfaces guarantees an immersive visual experience, even during the day. Its integrated audio section also allows you to enjoy movies and video games without additional audio devices. Whether for your favorite video games, your favorite movies and series or to share highlights while watching sporting events, the BenQ MW560 adapts to your home entertainment.
